Some facts about our Health Office, and what we do:
 
~ Staffed by a full time Registered Nurse.
 
~ Provide First Aid for injuries sustained at school.  Students will be assessed for any medical attention needed beyond First Aid protocols.  Parent/Guardian will be called in case of any emergency.
 
~ Provide rest area for ill or injured students until they can return to class, or be picked up from school by a designated adult
 
~ Provide ongoing health screenings (such as hearing, vision, and scoliosis) and notify parent or guardian of any abnormal findings
 
~ Administer medications to students, adhering to WCSD in-school medication guidelines
 
~ Maintain confidential health records for each student
